TeenWerq makes the DREAM WORK! (the DREAM of teen girls feeling good in their bodies, hearts, minds and souls!! It takes WORK!! And we help make that work FUN!!)

Led by Teen Psychotherapist/Counselor (dance movement therapist/ Middle and High School Counselor/teen counselor/mentor/life coach that has been doing this work for almost 30 years, Taliza Mizrahi and badass Boulder-famous dance teacher and teen whisperer, Ayla Satten.
A two hour container will be held where your teen will get to not only dance to current charting music and fulfill their creative expression but also experience community in a way that’s inaccessible to most teens in today’s fast paced, competitive world.
We will move our bodies, sweat, laugh, be silly, sometimes serious (moving ALLLL the emotions depending on what the music evokes!)
Teens will share a safe space to talk, write, make art and explore the many important themes in teen girls’ lives that are at the core of these formative years but aren’t often talked about in a safe and held way. Teens will get a chance to meet girls from other schools, find their shared humanity and commonalities, celebrate differences and deepen into their own values and who they are creating themselves to be.
Our focus is on helping young women tap into their own unique creativity, be invited to access their authentic voice and feel safe to share that voice in a group, and most of all ….to have FUN!!

I met Taliza when I was 19 years old. I had applied for my first Surfing The Creative rites of passage dance camp in Boulder and Taliza was the one who interviewed me.
